Sceptile and Swampert Mega Evolutions Revealed
Pokemon Spring Regional Championships took place this weekend. That means there are six champions that took the top prize in their age division. Each winner earned a paid invitation to their national tournament in Canada or the US. Check out the full list of Spring Regional winners at Pokemon.com.
Pokemon.com has revealed the dates for the 2013 European National events. Each event will take place over the span of two days and will cover both video game and trading card game tournaments. The events will take place in Italy, Germany, and the UK. Visit Pokemon.com for a full breakdown of prizes.
May 11th & 12th: Milan, Italy
May 25th & 26th: Bochum, Germany
June 1st & 2nd: Birmingham, United Kingdom
The Pokemon State Championships span across three weekends this year. Die hard competitors can attend a total of three events on March 9th, 16th, and 23rd. Players can earn Championship Points that count toward qualifying for the national tournament in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The top placing competitors win a trophy, a travel stipend to Nationals, and booster packs. Check out the State Championships page on Pokemon.com for a full prize breakdown.
Results are now available for the 2013 Winter Friendly Tournament. Go to the Pokemon GL to see your personal results if you entered the tournament.

The 2013 International Challenge is now available for all players who have registered. It will run until January 28th. The results of the competition will be added to the Pokemon Global Link on January 31st.
The Top Cut is known for its Pokemon TCG coverage. Their latest video is a break down of the Keldeo/Blastoise/Mewtwo deck that won the Mississippi Valley Regional Championships. Andrew Krekeler, the winner of the tournament, explains the strategy behind each of the cards included in the deck. For example, Andrew used more Mewtwo than usual and included a Cilan from Next Destinies to get late game energy. Watch the video in the full story, or at The Top Cut.
The 2013 International Challenge is now open for registration. You have until the 24th of January, or until all spots are filled, to sign up for the competition. The tournament will start on January 25th and run through the 28th. All competitors will receive a Jaboca Berry for entering.
The 2013 International Challenge is the latest Pokemon WiFi competition. Registration will open on January 17th and the competition will run from the 25th through the 27th. All participants will receive a Jaboca Berry. 128 North American players and 128 European players from each age division will receive Championship Points that can be used to qualify for the World Championships in Vancouver.

City Championships are just around the corner, running from November 17th through January 6th. For those who don’t know, City Championships are a set of tournaments across the nation that allow players to earn Championship Points. The players with the most Championship Points at the end of the season will receive an invite to the World Championships held in Vancouver, Canada.
