Sceptile and Swampert Mega Evolutions Revealed
All of the information from the earlier CoroCoro leak has been localized. The four new Pokemon names are Litleo, Flabébé, Scatterbug, and Spewpa. In the games, you will make three friends that you’ll encounter throughout your adventure.
The opening town of the games is Vaniville Town. Santalune Town has a large fountain in the center and the first gym, ran by Viola. She has a sister named Alexa who is a journalist that guides you to the gym. Roller blades will act as the new running shoes, allowing you to travel faster than walking.
The latest Pokedex skin available for Pokemon Black and White 2 is themed like Cheren. To unlock it, you must fill in the missing word from a phrase Cheren says in the games. The full phrase is, “Here is your first Gym Badge, the Basic Badge. This is an important milestone!” Remember to capitalize the first letter in Basic.
The skin matches Cheren’s outfit, blue and white. It’s available until July 11th.
To add to the craziness of E3, a new issue of CoroCoro has leaked with even more new Pokemon X and Y information. This batch reveals four new Pokemon, three rivals, a gym leader, and a character premiering in the anime soon.
The Nintendo Developer Roundtable at E3 just finished up with plenty more Pokemon X and Y information revealed. In attendance were Tsunekazu Ishihara, president of The Pokemon Company, and Junichi Masuda, director at GAME FREAK.
Three new Pokemon were introduced: Talonflame, Skrelp, and Clauncher. Talonflame appears to be Fletchling’s evolution. Considering the name, it’s most likely a Flying Fire-type Pokemon. Skrelp is a Water Poison-type that resembles a sea horse and knows Sludge Bomb. Clauncher is a Water crustacean Pokemon that knows Crabhammer and Swords Dance.
Nintendo unveiled two brand new Pokemon during their Nintendo Direct presentation today. Vivillon and Noivern are two Pokemon from the Kalos region that will be featured in Pokemon X and Y.
Vivillon is a Bug/Flying dual type. It weighs 37.5 pounds and is 3 foot 11 inches tall. The pattern on its wings are said to hold a secret. It’s possible it might be used as a key to an in-game puzzle. Vivillon uses it wings to scatter its scales and can attack by creating strong winds like a Butterfree. It learns the move Struggle Bug, which was introduced in Black and White.
The 18th Pokemon type was revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct presentation. The long rumored Fairy type is real. It’s the first new type introduction since Dark and Steel were introduced in Gold and Silver over 10 years ago.
Fairy-type attacks are super effective against Dragon-type Pokemon. Along with Ice and Dragon itself, this brings the number of Dragon weaknesses to three. The E3 X and Y trailer hinted that more information will be announced in the future, most likely concerning more weaknesses and resistances.
Nintendo’s special E3 Nintendo Direct went off with a few hiccups, like terrible lag throughout the live broadcast. Fortunately, there was still plenty of Pokemon X and Y information revealed during the presentation.
The Fairy Type was also announced. It’s been circulating online as a rumor for a while now, but it’s finally true. Confirmed Fairy types include new Pokemon like Sylveon, as well as older Pokemon like Jigglypuff, Marill, and Gardevoir.
This month’s Dream World dolls are the legendary Pokemon Jirachi and Manaphy. Use the password SJEOPWM in the Global Link to unlock them. They will be available until July 4th.
The password was sent to everyone with a Pokemon Trainer Club account.
Plasma Blast, the latest Pokemon TCG set, is scheduled to hit store shelves on August 14th. It will contain over 100 new cards, 11 of which will be Pokemon EX.
The set’s booster packs feature Dialga, Palkia, Porygon-Z, and Genesect. The two theme decks feature Volcarona and Genesect.
