Sceptile and Swampert Mega Evolutions Revealed
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity went on sale at the beginning of the week and passwords to unlock items are already being released. These passwords unlock a Gold Ribbon, Sitrus Berry, and PP Manual. All three items are very useful in the game, so be sure to make use of them.
My Pikachu 3DS XL finally arrived in the mail today. I decided to do a quick unboxing video, which you can find in the full story.
For anyone on the fence about the 3DS, now is the time to get one. Not only can you get a cool looking Pikachu 3DS XL, but if you buy either Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity or Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon and register the 3DS and the game on Club Nintendo, you can get one of five downloadable games for free. Of course, Pokemon X and Y are also coming in October.
Full Restore is a group of Pokemon players that are currently streaming Pokemon games for charity. All donations are sent to the Red Cross. They’ve raised nearly £700 at the time of this writing.
Donors can choose the names of caught Pokemon, help choose the current team, and a bunch of other fun stuff. Best of all, you’ll be helping a great charity as well. If you’d like to join the free stream, check out Full Restore’s website.
We now have a scan of Team Plasma Ball, making a total of 15 Plasma Freeze scans including the initial batch that was revealed last week. Team Plasma Ball lets the player search for a Team Plasma Pokemon in their deck. Anyone using Plasma Pokemon will surely increase their deck’s stability by using this card.
When Emily of The Brain Scoop isn’t gutting wolves, she’s highlighting interesting animals. This video features the pangolin. It’s a bi-pedal mammal that very closely resembles a Sandshrew. You get to learn new things and see a raccoon give a drum roll, what more could you ask for?
Pokemon.com has revealed the dates for the 2013 European National events. Each event will take place over the span of two days and will cover both video game and trading card game tournaments. Two new animated shorts are now featured on Pokemon TV to commemorate the release of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. They mimic the story found in the game, with a person turning into an Oshawott and finding himself in a world inhabited only by Pokemon. Each episode is only around 3 minutes long, so why not take a quick Pokemon break?
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity is in stores now. It’s a game where every dungeon is randomized, so you’ll never explore the same dungeon twice.
The Pikachu 3DS XL is also out now. If you register Gates to Infinity and a Pikachu 3DS with Nintendo, you’ll get a free downloadable game. Not a bad deal.
Steve from PKMNcast has created one of the coolest Pokemon arcade projects to date. The custom-built Pokemon Pinball machine plays Pokemon Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire and the original Pokemon Pinball. You can find an in-depth report and picture gallery at the post on PKMNcast’s website.
Gritty Reboots is a new YouTube channel that focuses on, well, gritty reboot trailers of popular games, TV shows, and movies. Their second video features a game close to my heart, Pokemon Snap. They show Todd Snap doing whatever it takes to get the snapshot, and have a very faithful portrayal of Professor Oak. Watch the video in the full story and check out Gritty Reboots on YouTube.
