Sceptile and Swampert Mega Evolutions Revealed
The official Pokemon website has added an interview with junior division competitor Brenden Zheng. In it, he answers questions about his Autumn Regionals performance and the fun of Pokemon events. Check out the interview at Pokemon.com.
The Top Cut has added an amazing interview with long-time Pokemon TCG player Jason Klaczynski. The interview covers Jason’s history as a Pokemon player. Considering he has been playing since the game first started, there’s no wonder why the interview is about two hours long. Anybody interested in the history of the Pokemon TCG should definitely check this out.
My video walkthrough of White 2’s Challenge Mode is now complete through the Toxic Badge. You can watch the videos on the Poke-Amph YouTube channel, the Black and White 2 Walkthrough, or embedded in the full story.
The people over at PokeBeach already have all card scans of Boundaries Crossed. Prerelease tournaments continue this weekend, so if you’re interested in attending check out the Event Locater. The set officially releases on November 7th.
I’m continuing my White 2 video walkthrough with the second part of Route 20. After beating Cheren in the Aspertia City Gym I passed by the Hiker previously blocking the path east. The next town is Virbank City, which will be in the next episode.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Magnagate and the Infinite Labyrinth for the 3DS will receive DLC when it ships to Japan on November 23rd. The downloadable area called PokeForest includes Pokemon like Golurk and Bisharp. It’s also said that there is a lot of money to pick up in the area. The DLC will be free if downloaded before January 1st, 2013 and will cost around one dollar after.
A limited edition Charizard-themed 3DS XL will be available in Japan soon. It’s a black 3DS XL with an etching of Charizard on the top cover and a flame on the bottom cover. Only those who win a raffle will be able to purchase it. The raffle can be entered at Japanese Pokemon Centers or through the mail from November 3rd to the 26th. It will cost 18,900 yen, the price of a normal 3DS XL.
Details on the upcoming Japanese TCG set Spiral Force and Thunder Knuckle have surfaced. Team Plasma branded cards will return in the set, Therian Forme Thundurus will be an EX card, and it’s possible that multiple forms of Deoxys will be featured as EX cards. That’s all for now. Surely more information will leak before the set releases on December 14th in Japan.
The Junior Division of the downloadable Pokemon World Tournament content is now available for Black and White 2. It contains competitors from this year’s Worlds tournament including Champion Abram Burrows, Runner-up Brian Hough, 3rd place finisher Brendan Zheng, and 4th place finisher Kippei Takaki. The Senior Division will be available in two weeks.
Leading into the release of Boundaries Crossed on November 7th, high quality images of the set’s booster packs and theme decks have been released. The booster packs feature images of Black Kyurem, White Kyurem, Keldeo, and Landorus. The theme decks feature Black and White Kyurem.
